Having been involved in the tourism industry for years, I have observed a growing interest in visiting Korea. It’s such a pleasure to witness that trend, which also creates more opportunities for my career. (Link to know more about me)
However, I have recently realized that when it comes to information, there are not enough resources that offer contextual knowledge about Korean culture; instead, most cater to practical needs. On the web, much information is piled up about traveling in Korea, but scarcely any content allows tourists to engage with Korean culture on a deeper level.

This is why I decided to start this project, Falling for Korea. It may be a big challenge, as I realize that not all people are very interested in the detailed context of culture and history that will be visible throughout travel. This might mean I should narrow down the target audience.
On the other hand, I do believe that increased knowledge of a country’s cultural elements further enables the fun that emanates from travel and living there. I believe that there are people out there who crave that kind of behind-the-scenes knowledge to satisfy their more intellectual and curious side about this land. This wraps up the main mission of Falling for Korea.
